I had a game where three of the players were a half-elf(wood), half-elf(high), half-orc that all met on the road to Waterdeep in search of their fathers. Eventually to learn that the same human bard, not only fathered them, but seven other siblings up and down the Sword Coast. They eventually located him in an Halruuan(sp) cell for having a dalliance with the wrong wife, they ended up leaving him there to suffer his fate.
As always,

I have had several player sets be related to each other, and have had father son sets play as father and son in the game. That is an awesome way to bring a group together and build out a quest for them, Jourfrend. Also, welcome to the Block Party! If you don't mind, I would love to hear more about the encounters that the party went through? Just the rough and tumble of traveling and random encounters, or the quest for info through more nefarious people that need "persuasion?" Makes me think of that movie with Vince Vughn and his hundreds of kids. What a crazy campaign that would make. Reskinning the way that he helps them to being quests that the party undertakes... curse this forum and the wonderful people on is that give too many ideas for a DMs own good.

If Genasi don't make the most awkward father-son relationships, I don't know what does...
