Thanks. Anyone know if Wizards will replace your PHB for free if the seam is coming apart?

I've heard they will, but only anecdotally. Contact them, be obnoxious.

I found the Wizard's Spell Book clear up, interesting. I told my players they could copy down any spell, they just couldn't use it until they got to a particular level. Luckily none of them decided to do that. Good to know. Thanks!

Luckily none of them decided to do that. Good to know. Thanks! This is something that I think it'd be kind of fun to House Rule that you can copy higher level spells into your book for later use. Sure you can't use them until you have the spell slots available, but just copying them into your book I would think would be ok? Plus it lends to possibly great RP scenarios. Did you copy it down well enough? Will it cast without malfunctions once you have the slots available? etc.

I like the idea of the person doing it sooner, but with a negative consequence for doing so. It makes sense though as the player couldn't use the scroll as a one time thing if they weren't high enough level to cast it. The other thing would be to have the player keep it hidden and well protected until they level up. The other question is how it relates to spells known and spells prepared.
My favorite from the errata was this one:
"Two-Handed (p. 147). This property is relevant only when you attack with the weapon, not when you simply hold it."
I can only imagine how that was coming up. No you can't hold both! But it would be so damn cool looking! No, not gonna happen!

Based on unarmed melee combat rules. Theoretically, if I constructed a character with a STR of -2 could The Character heal an enemy 1 Hit Point every time the character makes a succesful unarmed attack? Of course it is ridiculous, just wondering if, rules wise, it is possible.
