So thus far, the players in my world have come across a handful of games in taverns.
They've arm-wrestled, played a simple version of craps, and watched a group of gnomes play a fast-paced card game called Wing-Dingers.
I've personally taken up playing Tak, a strategy game designed by Patrick Rothfuss and James Ernest, which I'm going to introduce into my world at some point.
I'm curious, do you have any games in your worlds? Any games that you invented? Named but not developed?

Been wanting to add in Three Dragon Ante because I bought the physical version, but I feel like that would take up too much time. Done some knife throwing in place of the typical darts. This has me thinking about what sort of pool style game I could add.
The options beyond that I think would likely define the tavern in your world. Which I also think is awesome. Indoor rock climbing. A series of traps to run through. Indoor caber tossing, etc.

Oh...snap....stay with me here: Barkour: The Parkour Bar. Eh? EH?!?
Nothing could go wrong with that! Impaired judgement and feats of dexterity!

Oh...snap....stay with me here: Barkour: The Parkour Bar. Eh? EH?!? Nothing could go wrong with that! Impaired judgement and feats of dexterity! I often think of how there is no way that insurance companies could work in the D&D worlds, haha. That said, I absolutely LOVE Barkour. Especially if it were made specifically for people training to become bartenders in a high fantasy world. Jumping over the bar, spinning backwards through some patrons, sliding expertly under a table to pop up exactly where they want to be.

Yes, no, but there is about to be an insurance salesman (aka absolute conman) in my world!
And is there a sub-class for barkeeps? Maybe a bardic college of bartender? Performing awesome flips and tricks, pouring a bit of liquid courage (bardic inspiration)? Closely associated with drunken master monks?
