What are some tools you guys keep around to help run a Pathfinder game? I’m just starting out as a GM and some of the GMs I’ve played with had all kinds of stuff, from glass beads, wet erase mats and cards, and little colored transparent plastic area of effect shapes. What would you suggest I pick up?

I like those erasable mats because of the flexibility... you can draw anything, and you won't have to buy a giant stock of diverse terrain. Plus, some of them are thick enough to protect tables from those sexy, sexy, table-ruining metal dice. You might also consider some of those handheld whiteboards like you used in school; it's great for stuff like initiative tracking, condition tracking, altitude tracking in air/water combat, etc.
