I’m about to run my players through the feywild, so now I have to make a feywild realm to work into my homebrew world. Been doing a lot of YouTube watching, downloaded a couple of pdf’s from the DMs guild, and bought tome of beasts.
An idea I had for my feywild is make the “ruling” archfey and the courts up to mimic the themes in a tarot deck, and the system to work kinda like the world of darkness camarilla- seelie & unseelie, and then the seasonal courts to be like clans. I also created a term, Vala, which is the fey word to represent the magical nature of the feywild, as well as the material everything there is made from, almost a sentient magical force that is chaotic in nature and the reason time and distance work so weird there.
Any thoughts on these? What are some things you’ve implemented in your feywild? Looking for more inspiration. Thanks!

I love the Feywild! It's super awesome! If you haven't already, you should really read the Celtic myths: The Mabinogion (Welsh), The Mythological Cycle (Irish), The Ulster Cycle, the Fenian Cycle, and the Historical Cycle.
