So I found this listing on Amazon, but it had just enough bad reviews that I didn't want to invest. But, I have a buddy who works in the machining shop at SAIC and he custom made about 20 similar ones for me with scrap plastic sheets and a laser cutter. Only one session of use so far but my players really dug them and enjoyed the upgrade from our previous campaign almost exclusively using homemade flat pog-like tokens for villains and monsters. They're three pieces, about a 1/4" thick base and two 1/12" thick squares that open just wide enough to get the paper in and out without falling apart. I also made a contact sheet in Photoshop for easily making printable tokens. I can get something like 30 1" square tokens to swap in and out of the holders for about $1.20 in print costs at an office supply store.

The images are broken, but I am definitely intrigued and would love to know more about what you are referring to.
