I've been listening to the podcast for quite awhile, and finally decided to join the forums. I am perpetually working on a homebrew world that is a Frankenstein's Monster for things I've seen in a variety of sources (Confrontation, Chronopia, Fighting Fantasy, the Lone Wolf series, and M:tG being the most prevalent). Don't know if I'll ever run anything in the world, but it's fun to make.
I got into role playing as a kid, but mostly stopped after college. I've played a lot of different systems, and am currently enjoying the stuff for 5e (I stopped after 2e, so it's a bit different to say the least!).

That is quite the leap in editions! That said, I absolutely love the sound of your Frankenstien's Monster, and even if you don't ever play a single session in that world the process will help you immensely as a DM. Glad you joined the Block Party!

Don't know if I'll ever run anything in the world, but it's fun to make. Well, hopefully the many fine DMs of this community can convince you to take the leap and let some adventurers into your world!
