#MagicMark how have you not forced the group to buy a boat and find out once and for all the shape of the world?
There are two Significant Factors that Have lead to this not being the case: 1 For some Reason i tend to play somewhat Passive Characters who are a Bit timid in Initiating themselves (speak Softly and All), and None of them have had a desire to learn weather the world is round or flat, don't want to Meta-game (my DM frowns upon it) and 2 When at the Table i'm more invested in the story than the setting. That's a tid-bit you can take away from this at the table the Story Trumps Setting every time. But Who know Maybe my next Character will Be a Salty Sailor Rogue Who wants nothing more than the Open Sea! (or a Druid with a Dolphin Companion ).
And as far as this Crushing my Hopes and Dreams I'll have to settle going back to my Wookiepieda, MTG Salvation, and Dragonage Wiki's to sate my desire for more lore.... Since there is no Aatos Wiki, Above is the Closest thing I've got.
(this thread has enough Big Pictures so maybe a little one will do)
"Guys I don't really Even Play Magic that Much."
I said right Before Guesting on my First Episode.
As per request from DM Mainprize on tonight's Google + Hangout, I have created this thread about my world of Aatos. I will post info on my world, but I'll allow this to run as a AMA (Ask Me Anything)....or an AMAA (Ask me Almost Anything). I will answer any questions about my world that I can, however, there are some questions I cannot reveal, for I do not want to spoil things for future Story Times, or for players, such as #magicmark who frequents these forums and are looking for insider secrets! Anyway I will start off with some basics....
Map of Aatos
Aatos Star Chart
Aatos I Timeline
The Pantheon of the High Gods (Mostly Good Aligned)
A Close up Look at Shemish...aka Home of the Riders of Shemish
Ok, so thats what I will post tonight. I will begin answering any questions any of you feel free to throw my way.
I know that I am a wee bit late to this thread, but are these supposed to be links? I would really love to know more, especially now that I am going through the podcast for the second time.
