If played right he is next to unstoppable, especially if you get a io/wisp supporting him. I play supports only because I love the thankless job of buying Wards, courier, setting up big plays and saving my teammates while trying to not die.
Blessed are the legend-makers with their rhyme of things not found within recorded time.
Ok finally finished the letter "E" heroes. This section took a bit longer than I had hoped for, life got in the way and some of the spells are really odd for characters like earth and ember spirit. It is difficult when the gameplay mechanic within dota doesn't translate in an easy way to d&d. But these first drafts of the spells are done. I have added two appendix section which will get filled as the project continues. One will be where the spells are broken down into which class can access them. The other will house stat block or miscellaneous information needed for spell effects or outcomes. The next version will contain heroes from the letters F-K as each letter only has one or two heroes. almost half way done!
Wow! So excited to find this! I've been planning out a questline that will take my players to the temple of time and up against their hardest foe to date: The Weaver! I've got about 10k hours logged into Dota2 so I'm pretty jazzed someone else is bringing the two of them together, I know I don't have the time!
Mainprize this is awesome. I always find that spells, especially in D&D, lose their charm over time because players get used to them. So I jump at the chance to integrate new spells into my campaigns. Thanks you so much.
Your project is truly awesome, dude! I really look forward for my favorite hero's spells: Yurnero, the Juggernaut. Please don't let this die, it's so cool to see eletronic games tapping into tabletop RPG that I barely can wait for your next update.
Have you finished this/still working on it/given up on it? I'd love to throw some new spells into my D&D session and these seem perfect. Like Harou said, it's really cool to see electronic video games give back to their ancestors, table top games.
Been 2 years since this has been updated but just started checking it out and I wish there could be a team on this and finish all of it. Its so amazing to see and I would absolutely love to see all of it done. Its definitely deserving.
