My original plan was to only make a single Eldritch Invocation for the Ray of Frost cantrip, but then I realized that Ray of Frost wasn't on the warlock spell list, so naturally I decided to build a whole subclass to justify the single Eldritch Invocation that I wanted to make. In the end I had a patron that I felt blended the flavor with the mechanics and five new Eldritch Invocations. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Warlock Patron: Jotun

so naturally I decided to build a whole subclass to justify the single Eldritch Invocation that I wanted to make. I absolutely love this sentence, haha. Everything looks really solid. The only thing that I personally would want to play out more would be the Lesser Jotun Form ability. It is notably less duration than what a druid would have with wild shape, but it is also several CR above what a druid that chose Circle of the Moon could potentially transform into. I think that the trade off would be there because a druid attempting to do a similar thing could realistically go through most of their adventuring day as an elemental of some kind, but this warlock would only get through a battle or two. Other than that though, things look balanced and well themed.

My world is currently experiencing an influx of Norse-inspired races, classes, and celebrations. This seems right along that line of awesomeness. However, I am not experienced in "balancing" a class. Nothing seems game breaking to me though. Nicely done! I like the "handbook style" design of it too! well done

thanks for your feedback! I think the balance for Lesser Jotun Form would depend on whether your DM throws a full day of encounters at you or does the one encounter then a long rest thing.
