Fate of the Norns

This is pretty straightforward- has anyone tried playing Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok?  I picked up the basic books, and I will not hesitate to proclaim to the world that they are beautiful.  But it's been very hard to wrap my head around the deeper mechanics of the game, so I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it?  Mostly, I want to understand the game at a deep enough level to run it, without having to trial and error my way through it with players...
