So I don't know how many of you play video games and and how many of those people have played Borderlands or Borderlands 2, but I have played both and love them both and wanted to take the Skags from Borderlands and turn them into a monster to put in my world, possibly to even replace wolves or some other "staple" of the fantasy setting. Skags are basically the wolves of a planet called pandora. If you want to check out what they are like just youtube them. I have included a picture of a Skag in the PDF and have given stat blocks for their various forms(Pup-Whelp-Spitter-Adult-Alpha). I hope some of you have played Borderlands and know what this thing is, and I also hope some of you can give me some solid feedback on their stats, and ideas on how to use them. Skags

Looks great! I love Borderlands, so when I saw the Skags title, I was like, whoo!
The only things I would consider changing are the damage vulnerabilities and resistances. I know the fire vulnerability is setting appropriate to Borderlands, but using Borderlands logic you would also extend that vulnerability to all humans. You could totally give them Damage Vulnerability: bludgeoning damage caused by land vehicles! (j/k)
Also, there's nothing built into 5e to suggest which direction a creature is facing in combat. Its one of those granular mechanics the devs ditched in favor of simplicity. The frontal armor feature means the DM needs to take facing into account, and when you consider that skags mostly operate in packs, that could be a lot of extra book keeping. Instead, I would give them an ability that allows them to use their reaction to gain resistance to all damage from one attack. Narratively, you can describe this as the skag taking the hit with his hardened front.

Dear lord why didn't this happen sooner?
lol LOVE IT! The write up is easy to follow and looks fairly balanced to boot.
Like DM Nevvur said, if your DM isn't up to more book keeping dropping the frontal armor feature for something more simple could improve things. Other than that I think it looks great as is!
Good stuff Dm Mainprize!

This is awesome stuff. I've recently been trying to work on the Spiderants in the Borderlands series, and will hopefully enjoy that project enough to work on the Stalkers as well. Your write up is very clean, I especially like the lore info written along the right hand side with the statblocks on the left.
