So I didn't quite know where to stash this because there is no section for Homebrewed monsters. This is a monster that is a very fundamental part of my world. The Dûrnossë are basically people who get lost or pulled into my worlds version of the shadowfell and then become some dark form of their former self. Much like the Nazgul from LOTR. So To make them I basically combined Shadows and Wights. Gonna tweak it a bit more to get it exactly how I like it, but I would love some feedback on this first draft.

ACTIONS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Multiattack: The Dûrnossë makes two Shadow Blade attacks or two
Shadow Bow Attacks. It can use it’s Life Drain or Strength Drain in
place of one of its attacks. It can also use an attack to shift forms.
Strength Drain in Shadow Form only: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit,
reach 5ft, one creature.Hit 5(1d6+2) necrotic damage, and the target’s
Strength score is reduced by 1d4. The target dies if this reduces its
Strength to 0. Otherwise, the reduction lasts until the target finishes a
short or long rest. If a non-evil humanoid dies from this attack, a new
shadow rises from the corpse 1d4 hours later.
Life Drain in Both Forms: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5ft,
one creature. Hit 5(1d6+2) necrotic damage. The target must
succeed on a DC 13 CON saving throw or its hit point maximum is
reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts
until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect
reduces it hit points maximum to 0. A humanoid slain by this attack rises
24 hours later as a zombie under the Dûrnossë’s control, unless the
humanoid is restored to life or its body is destroyed. The Dûrnossë can
have no more than twelve zombies under its control. The Dûrnossë
can command its zombies to head toward the nearest Húnando to pass
into the shadow world and become a Dûrnossë themselves.
Shadow Blade in Physical Form only: Melee Weapon Attack +4 hit, reach 5ft.,
one target. Hit 6(1d8+2) slashing damage, or 7(1d10+2) slashing damage
if using 2 hands.
Shadow Bow in Physical Form only: Melee Weapon Attack +4 to hit, range (150/600).,
one target. Hit 6(1d8+2 piercing damage)
The Dûrnossë also called Dark Ones, Night Stalkers or Shadow People are people who during the age of discovery were unfortunate enough to find and be drawn through one of the dark and cursed Húnando. Once in the world of shadow they became lost and began to wither away. They passed from life into a twilight world between death and living. They ever seek to return to the realm of the living to draw others into their same fate. The Dûrnossë have a will and mind of their own, but their goal is to bring the world into darkness, and for all living things to enter the same shadow state that they dwell in. They call their god The Shadow Lord, and those who have knowledge of religion and lore recognize this dark god to be Ethad, also called Guruth by the elves, and known by many names to the race of men. Names such as Nerull, Hel, Hades, Anubis, Shi, and The Keeper.
The Dûrnossë have the ability to shift between their two states of existence. One their physical form is a pale reflection of who they were once. In this form the are thin and gaunt, their flesh a haggard appearance. In this form they have the ability to manifest shadow weapons. Most chose the form of a either a blade or bow. These weapons are dark as night and seem to shimmer or smoke. The second form is that of shadow itself. Losing physical form they become an amorphous mass of darkness that can hide in any manner of dark place. While in this form they cannot manifest their physical weapons, but can however use a dark form of strength draining attack that stills the blood of their victim, siphoning off their power till they are dead. The Dûrnossë have another form of attack available to them while in either form. This life draining attack steals the very vitality and essence of a person in an attempt to turn them into a shade themselves. Fear and terror walk in the darkness.
