Hey DMs this weeks episode was great and really touched on some awesome ideas about plot, story-telling and rpgs. The key phrase that stuck out to me was when Jim said we need to be marrying these concepts of plot, and player driven choices. So I thought a fun idea would be to attempt a "MadLibs" DMnastics, this will either work great or fail completely!
Grab a plot skeleton and fill it in to create a new and unique plot to use.

B. Far above the Sea of Stars a group of Worshipers of the Old Gods prepares a ritual with the sole intention of causing destruction to any who crosses the sea, their ships devoured by an awoken Old God minion.
Aim for the moon, if you miss you will die in the vacuum of space.
B. Far above the mountain town of Rimwald, a group of Storm Giant Shamans prepare a ritual with the sole intention of causing a massive mudslide to destroy the villagers down the mountain who built a city upon their dead king's grave.
C. The DRAGON KINGS son has been GIVIN AN ARMY , so the MOST POWERFUL DRGONBORN KNIGHTS have been summoned from all across the KINGDOM in order to CHOOSE those worthy of FIGHTING ALONGSIDE THE GREAT PRINCE .
It is the Final birthday, all the remnants of the Dwarven Clans have gathered in the Cavern of Dun Ka'Din to wish the last of their forces well. Unbeknownst to the survivors, a horde of reinforcements from The Lost Mine has come with the hopes of defeating the dragon and turning this day into what it should be. Athis happy occasion.
Nobody had touched the birthday option, so I thought I'd take a crack at it. If all the Dwarves celebrated their birthdays on the same day, it would be an epic party, and I've decided that's how they do it in my world now because there ain't no party like a Dwarven party!
Also, being the last birthday before a final, last ditch attempt to defeat the dragon that has plagued them and single-handedly (single-clawdly?) brought their entire race to the brink of destruction would be a super sombre and poignant event. The reinforcements (the PCs) coming in the nick of time to save the day would turn it back into the raucous party it should have been. Dwarven debauchery all 'round!
