Wow thanks for prompting me! I never would have written all that otherwise! Soooooo, this leads me to a question/thought I had recently. Did you guys like that I asked questions of your posts? I wasn't sure how it would come across through the medium of text, and wanted to ask those of you I had responded to, and others if questions like these are something that I should continue to do? Spotting as you lift the mental weights as it were, haha. I don't want to promise that I will be able to do it for every post every week, but if it is something that people would generally like then I will continue to make a concerted effort to do it!

Did you guys like that I asked questions of your posts? Yeah i definitely would appreciate it! Everyone loves a good Spot now and then and I think feedback is kind of the point of having the forums, isn't it?

Shawn Mentioned his desire to build a 20th level adventure populated completely with Kobolds. So why not get the ball rolling here. It is a great way to think about making more typical monster last farther into a campaign. Grab one of the photos and "stat" out the kobold in it. Actual stats, or conceptual ones that are more of why that specific kobold can handle themselves in a higher level campaign. Some potential J This image just screamed group instead of singular. 1. The Squirrel riders of Schalad. 2. ClassRangers and fighters (though differing archetypes) 3. Ultimate GoalsProtecting the kobold town of Schalad and its surrounding area. 4. Secondary GoalsEnsure that the forests surrounding the town is undisturbed and uncorrupted. They also tend to the wild animals in the forest. 5. Methods of achieving GoalsPatrolling, scouting, and exterminating through any force necessary 6. Name Fortress or base of operations
Primarily housed in the town of Schalad, but they do have several hidden outposts in the region. 7. Alignment
Chaotic Neutral. Schalad started out primarily as a pacifistic/ neutral town, but human adventurers kept finding and killing them and other kobold groups no matter how little they resisted and tried to talk peace. Now they know better than to trust those that proclaim themselves as protectors of the civilized realm and will neautralize them when found. 8. Weapon/Spell of choice
The riders are all trained in the use of bow and spears though those who have the potential for magic are also trained in its use. 9. Physical Description of Clothes/Armor
The armor of the riders is built for agility and versatility, meant to be light but sturdy. Made out of leather and then hardened with metal plates before dyed to both camouflage and show the rank of the rider.

I love all the ideas. Very creative ways of seeing them.
To me my kobolds are all comic relief. I actually made Butters a NPC in my game and my players love him. They actually gasped when they put him into harms way.
At some point i would love to run or play in a kobold d&d game.

I'm good with it, it makes us get more creative and to dig into the lore a bit more. Plus as the show is fond of saying you never know what player's will throw at you so it's good to have more bases covered :3

1. Name: Aka 2. Class: Battlemaster 3. Ultimate Goal: To claim the seventh Sword of Answering 4. Secondary Goals: To never turn down a duel. Ever. 5. Methods of achieving Goals: To politely challenge every fighter he comes across to a duel, wagering his treasures against theirs. Should they choose to surrender, the kobold swordmaster often lets them live. 6. Name Fortress or base of operations: The world is a very big place. . . 7. Alignment: Lawful Neutral 8. Weapon/Spell of choice: The Concluder or the Replier (The other four Swords of Answering aren't really on good terms with him, so. . .) 9. Physical Description of Clothes/Armor: Aka will sometime bet items of clothing as part of his dueling terms to replace damaged pieces of equipment.
