Nox Arcana's pretty good. I've got a couple of their albums, too. Then there's Midnight Syndicate, as well, who put out the official D&D soundtrack.

As a player I would occasionally assemble on-the-fly playlists whenever we fought a boss by pulling up old video game music from YouTube on my phone. I've gone so far as to make a "Boss" playlist (and a big second on OCRemix for that) on my phone but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. I hope to soon and if the players like it I'd like to start doing more of that sort of thing. In that sort of situation I'll definitely be revisiting this thread as a handy resource. ^_^

Planning on incorporating tunes relatively soon. Probably a D&D pandora station ... last time I created one it came up with a lot of cool adventure music. Hard rock for combat at times when appropriate.
