As I'm going through the podcast they talk about 'adventure time'and that it may help with d&d ideas and today I found a similar show that could be used for some stories 'Craig of the creak'it has a kid explore a creak and all their adventures but there is definitely a d&d way of telling these tells and most of the time you think its kids playing make believe but once you figure how to make it a real quest you see all the elements are all their.

I have only watched the pilot, but you are 100% correct!! this is a fantastic show with a ton of inspiration baked into it. I will be watching it and adding it to my already very long list of shows to keep up on!

I know the feel is definitely more Monster of the Week, or even Kids on Bikes, but there are so many brilliant elements to Gravity Falls. The mystery, conspiracy, crazy monsters, etc. I'm watching it for the second time now, and keep jotting down notes for side quests and aspects of the main story!
