So here's the deal, I'm a beginner DM and I'm stuck.
The world i made has many similaritys to it then a normal d&d world.
but the god of piece was given an island to govern over his domain but for centures none of the races (dwarves, elves, humans, nomes, dragonborn) live on this island.
so instead monsters are the main in habitants along with beast folk, this god has given both their abilty to think and to be peaceful for monsters this means pretty much being their only god makeing then all good alined or nutral with a tendencey toward piece.
the campain starts 20 years after the races show up to this island. and little do the adventures know a cult is weakening this god and his influence.
what i want to do is make the change be slow at lvl 20 they fight the thing the cult tries to raise that if they fail brings death and mayham to this island and then the world.
but
i need more quests at first and some help with plot points.
i have that the first is a goblin attack were they find out that the goblin leader is pretty much trying to make his people stronger because he has already figured it out (except the cult part) this is because the Barghest showed up and he has done reserch on what it is.
another is that the forest is starting to have Blights show up
and the lizard folk are going to have a lizard queen show up and that may start a war if not taken out fast,
thats what i got for story points, i also thought it would be funny if an incounter was a lizard folk got obsessed with dragonborn and "becoming dragonborn"
so i know lvl 20 might be a bit much and all but i have ideas about the god and even having a hidden diva that is pretending to be a cleric for that god that will help them out.
