Hey guys! Been...well too long since I have posted because work is the worst. But I thought I would share my most recent version of my pantheon from my world of Lyrentia! Let me know what you all think of it. I took a long time to kinda get things nailed down because my players just didn't care about religion in my world for a while. But now that they're invested I finally could focus on it and build it out.

Thanks! I actually did this as a list originally but I couldn't really visualize how they're connected until I charted them out. I plan on actually doing a sorta art type piece where they are in the stars and there's like a shadowy representation next to their constellation for each respective god. It's slow going though.

I really, <<really>> like the notion of astrological pantheons. For me, I envision all clerical sects having their time of worship keyed to the night sky-- when constellations are visible. There would be a calendar of festivals as Lorandal proceeds through the great houses of the night sky. Meteors could appear in certain constellations, lending greater powers and influence to that deity.
Also an interesting idea is if your deities require worship to sustain themselves; if your clergy was always worshiping your constellation because it appears at the Vernal equinox, well, that's going to make you a deity of Spring & rebirth. Give the people what they want! For simplicity sake, when I am making up astronomy, I just use our existing night sky or maybe the Southern Hemisphere. Change the relative brilliance of certain stars to make your constellations, much much easier than drawing your own from scratch. Good luck!
