Loving all of these! Reading them all is what gave me the idea for a riddle thread in All Things Geek.
DMMainprize- Loving the haikus as well. Especially loving the use of "sode."
Almararianknight- Nice rhyme scheme. Also, great employment of slant rhymes such as "stop" and "Block", it really shows in the end. Additionally, is that a new quote in your signature? I could've sworn it was a different one last I checked...
Also, nice to see you guys getting recognised for your great poems, thanks DM Mitch.

Especially loving the use of "sode." In highschool my brothers and I would abbreviate every word we could find. We just didn't see the use of saying episode we could cut it to one syllable and call it a sode. The list of abbreviated words(what we called abbreevs) grew to an incredible length.

A Modern Poem
Another hashtag comes to mind Another old friend whom we find
Another message on our feed Another application that we need
Another image on Instagram Another advertisement scam
Another post we've seen on reddit Another steam sale, where's our credit
Another pin on our board Another request to be ignored
Another message in our box Another indie game which rocks
Another Phone with more to offer Another way to fill their coffer
Another day of new memes Another day of glowing screens
Another truth no one's admitting Another minute wasted sitting
Also, if you liked the poems here or writing poems check out my riddle post in "All things Geek" me and AlmarianKnight have put up some pretty good ones(I think at least). I'd be thrilled to see some active involvement. I'm pretty bored at the moment so I'm likely going to be posting a few more poems as time goes on tonight. Also, I'm currently watching Dead Poets Society for the first time which is really inspiring me. Definitely check it out if you have not seen it be for. But don't watch it on one of those free streaming sights, those are bad sights and even though it is technically not illegal to view a stream like this at the moment(I think) it is still bad. (Think back to the 4shared comments on the podcast...). I just realized I used "sights" instead of sites... I'm leaving it so you can all enjoy my stupidity together...
Edit: Does anyone have suggestions for ending this type of poem? I tried to end it on a point that I wanted to stick in the mind of the reader for a little bit after they finished reading. Was this effective? Thanks
